At Royal International School, Saoner, we offer a safe, reliable, and well-organized transport facility to ensure that students commute comfortably and securely between school and home.

Key Features:

  • Well-Maintained Fleet: Our school buses are modern, regularly serviced, and meet all safety and environmental standards.
  • Trained Drivers & Attendants: All drivers are experienced and licensed. Each bus is accompanied by a trained female attendant to ensure the safety of younger students.
  • GPS Tracking: Select buses are equipped with GPS tracking to monitor routes and enhance student safety.
  • Fixed Routes: Transport is available on designated routes covering Saoner and nearby areas. Route information is provided at the time of admission.
  • First Aid & Emergency Support: Each vehicle is equipped with basic first aid and emergency contact details.

School Bus Rules and Regulations for Students

To ensure the safety and discipline of all students using the school transport facility, the following rules must be strictly followed:

General Conduct

  • Board the bus on time from the designated stop. Arrive at least 5 minutes early.
  • Maintain silence and discipline inside the bus. Avoid shouting or using foul language.
  • Remain seated while the bus is in motion. Standing or moving around is strictly prohibited.
  • Do not lean out of windows or throw objects from the bus.
  • Respect the bus staff and fellow students at all times.
  • Carry your bus pass or ID card daily for identification and verification.

Safety Guidelines

  • Follow instructions given by the bus driver and attendant at all times.
  • Keep hands, head, and belongings inside the bus.
  • Do not tamper with or damage any bus equipment (seats, windows, emergency exits).
  • Report any unsafe behavior or incidents to the bus attendant or school authorities immediately.

Disciplinary Action

  • Misbehavior, repeated warnings, or any action that endangers others may lead to:
    • Verbal and written warnings
    • Temporary or permanent suspension from bus facility
    • Further disciplinary action by the school management

School Bus Rules and Regulations for Parents

To ensure the safety, discipline, and smooth operation of our school transport system, we request all parents to kindly follow the guidelines mentioned below:

1. General Guidelines

  • The transport facility is optional and must be availed for the full academic year once opted.
  • Route changes or new stop requests will only be considered if feasible and must be approved by the transport in-charge.
  • Parents are not allowed to board the school bus at any time.

2. Safety and Punctuality

  • Parents must ensure that their child is present at the pickup point at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time.
  • In the afternoon, parents/guardians must be present at the drop-off point to receive younger children. If no one is available, the child will be brought back to school for safety.
  • Students must board and alight the bus only at their assigned stop.

3. Student Conduct

  • Any misconduct, disobedience, or damage caused by a student on the bus will result in disciplinary action.
  • Repeated misbehavior may lead to suspension or cancellation of transport facility.

4. Communication

  • In case of any concerns related to transport, parents should contact the school transport coordinator, not the bus staff.
  • Sudden changes in drop location or pickup arrangements must be informed in writing and well in advance.

5. Emergencies and Delays

  • In case of traffic, mechanical failure, or weather-related delays, the school will communicate updates as soon as possible.
  • Parents are requested to remain patient and cooperative during such situations.

Note: The school reserves the right to make changes to the transport policies as needed in the interest of student safety and operational efficiency.

Code of Conduct for Students in School Campus

  • Discipline is an integral part of the learning process. Students must learn self-control, respect for others, and obey the laws of the country and the commandments of God.
  • Students arriving early must go quietly to their classrooms and prepare for the day’s lessons without roaming around or playing outside.
  • Absolute silence is to be maintained during and after assembly. Students should follow meditation and National Anthem instructions with respect and sincerity.
  • Students must stand and greet teachers when they enter the classroom, and thank them when the class ends. Respect should be shown even outside school premises.
  • Students must not leave the class without a valid class pass. Each class will have only two passes.
  • While moving to different activity areas, students must walk in line, keeping left. Hands should remain behind the back and not in pockets.
  • Cleanliness is a shared responsibility. Students must use dustbins for waste and keep the school campus clean.
  • Only English should be spoken on campus except during language classes.
  • Books and notebooks must be brought as per the timetable and should be properly covered with brown paper.
  • Damage to school property will result in disciplinary action and recovery of the cost involved.
  • Silence must be observed in the classroom, even when the teacher is not present, unless group work is allowed.
  • Students must wear neat and clean school uniforms. Ornaments, watches, and valuable items are not allowed. The school will not be responsible for their loss.
  • Students must be in their seats at least 5 minutes before the first bell. Entry will not be allowed after school hours.
  • Leaving the campus during school hours without permission is strictly prohibited, except in emergencies with proper approval.
  • Running, shouting, or unnecessary gathering in school premises is not allowed.
  • Misconduct, disobedience, cheating, inappropriate behavior, or poor moral conduct may result in dismissal.
  • The school phone should not be misused by students. Parents should not call students directly; they may leave a message with the principal in emergencies.
  • All students are expected to uphold the dignity and name of the school through discipline, cleanliness, and good behavior inside and outside the campus.
